Among WBPG’s 2020 releases are “Birds of Prey” (DC), Patty Jenkins’ “Wonder Woman 1984” (DC), Christopher Nolan’s “Tenet,” “The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It” (NL), and “Dune.” In 2019, Warner Bros. Pictures Group released the highest-grossing R-rated film of all time, “Joker” (DC), which earned $1.08 billion at the global box office and won two Academy Awards, as well as the hugely successful horror sequel “IT Chapter Two” (New Line). In 2019, Warner Bros. Pictures Group earned $4.4 billion in worldwide receipts ($1.57 billion domestic, $2.85 billion international), marking the 10th time the Studio crossed the $4 billion mark. Warner Bros. remains the only studio to cross the $1 billion mark both domestically and internationally for 19 years in a row—an industry record.
